We want to emphasize the power and role of jewelry in every styling. Clothes and fashion are inseparable friends and fashion knows it. Each new piece created with passion and impatience is a challenge both for us and for our clients. What is their destiny and to what extent do they want to be different. Dancers and actors are especially interesting for our campaigns, who convey our message and inspiration through jewelry in the best possible way with movement and character. Diversity makes us special, so for the new campaign we got to know the actress through different roles through the photographer's lens. Her transformations are the true wealth of the profession, and costumes and jewelry are part of her dreams - say Grubić design.
With a new campaign, Grubić design celebrates 30 years in jewelry design. Numerous collections follow a timeless concept from street fashion to extravagance.
- We are not enslaved by whimsical fashion trends, we want to ensure the availability of jewelry to the wider population by design, and enable younger generations to experiment in building their own style with design and price. We celebrate only uniqueness - being different!! - said Mladen Grubić.
And in the new campaign, the model is actress Nina Violić.
First, I adore their jewelry, I love that diversity and non-literalism, they gave me the opportunity to plunge into a completely different role every time, and that's always a pleasure for me. Especially because I was photographed by Mare Milin, with whom I have enjoyed working for over 20 years, shooting with her is not to be missed, it is simply a funfair - said Nina Violić.
- I think this series of photos perfectly shows the diversity of our assortment and vision, which many of our regular clients like to highlight. The roles and emotions that Nina Violić is capable of changing with such ease and speed are unprecedented for me, and Mare fits our design so stylistically that I sincerely hope that only her signatures will appear on all our future campaigns. I am extremely proud of this campaign, of the entire team that worked on it, and all together it motivates me a lot for future projects - said Petar Grubić.
- Today, when I hand over these visuals, I know that there are 6 of them. It should have been some other number. But nothing is accidental. I wanted Nina Violić to be an actress in these photos, but also to see her as a person through the duality of tragedy-comedy of the theatrical principle. It is inevitable with her. She is one of the strongest private personalities of the Croatian theater. Sometimes she scares you because of her personality (I laugh, because I've known her for a good 20 years). Jewelry, Grubići, their visions, visions lined up on the table, and then those strong pieces on a strong person. The jewelry itself has a strong personality. Both Petar and Mladen have it. And me too. Panic. What to do so that everything does not look like a circus? Or host the Colorado circus? And what now...cover yourself with a costume, a role, a mask. Scenes of the type - I'm daydreaming in the middle of a formal dinner, decorated with an unusual tie, I'm crazy with myself in my boudoir like a version of Miss Havisham, with clear symbols of menopause on me, I'm acting in front of the too strong spotlight of old Hollywood, I'm looking at you through the scope with a cold expression , flirting across the table protected by huge pieces of expanded glass, waiting for everything to end, somewhere in the warm darkness... 6 improvised situations. And then, looking for a conclusion, because I can't calm down without it, I somehow come across Pirandello and everything comes together. 6 people are looking for an author. Wikipedia says: “Reality in work becomes illusion, and illusion becomes reality. Ordinary people become actors, and actors become ordinary people.” Everything makes sense, and Nina squints where she looks most like herself in private. I open with that photo. I thank everyone who participated in this recording for the inspiration, which always happens during and after the recording, not mathematically, before the recording; I thank the necessary symbiotic contribution that created this omnibus. If you ask me, I would call this group of visuals: Nina's Omnibus. voila! – said Mare Milin.
